Jeremy Clarkson's top 10 most read car reviews of 2015

TO SAY that 2015 has been an eventful year for our man Clarkson would be, to put it very mildly, a large understatement. But through it all, JC has kept the faith with his petrolhead audience at The Sunday Times, week in and week out bringing us his insights into the latest wheels to grace his drive.

1 Corvette Z06

Have the Americans really cracked it with this insanely fast Corvette? Well, if noise is a measure, it’s a ten.

2 Land Rover Discovery Sport

Clarkson reckons the Discovery Sport feels a great deal bigger than it is. But is it a proper successor to the solid Freelander?

3 Ford Fiesta Zetec S Red Edition

Bentleys, Ferraris and Porsches are all fine. But if you want real perfection, you want a Ford Fiesta, reckons Clarkson.

Here is an Audi that is beautifully finished, really quite good to drive and very good looking. But there’s a little problem with stewardesses.

Yes, it has its flaws, but Clarkson reckons that this is a Jaguar that feels like a car three times as expensive and with looks to die for.

6 Ford Mondeo Ecoboost 1.5 Titanium

This Ford is fantastically well equipped and unbeatable value. But Clarkson wonders whether it will impress your neighbours.
