News: McLaren celebrates a long history of brilliance with 650S Spider video

THANKS TO its money-no-object Woking headquarters, glitzy Formula One business and out-of-reach supercars, “heritage” isn’t perhaps the first word that springs to mind when pondering the name of McLaren. A short film by the car maker aims to correct that impression.

Over the course of 40 hectic seconds, we are shown the company’s glorious history through 80 of the cars it has designed and built, or been associated with ‒ from the 1929 Austin Ulster that launched founder Bruce McLaren’s racing career, to the new 650S Spider.
