Picture perfect: the very best of the Kia Instagram Challenge

We pick our favourite photographs from three very different days out in the All-New Kia Niro

Three influencers, one car and one humble goal: to have the perfect day.

Over the past two months we asked a fashion stylist, a photographer and an Olympic athlete to take the All-New Kia Niro out for a drive to their favourite destinations and document it as part of the Kia Instagram Challenge. As different as three people could be, they each put their unique spin on the task, taking the car everywhere from winding Highland roads to luxury department stores.

A relaxing getaway to the New Forest, complete with a free-roaming petting zoo of horses and a picturesque countryside hotel, was on the agenda for Pippa Vosper and her four-year-old son, Astor. “The spacious, comfortable seats meant Astie was happy,” Pippa says, “and the quiet motor left me feeling far more peaceful having driven the Kia for the weekend as opposed to my own car.”

Conor McDonnell’s road trip through the fog-clad Scottish mountains was a different story, as the path to breathtaking Celtic ruins and towering cliffs passes through tricky terrain. But thanks to the Niro, he says, everything was plain sailing. “The car practically glided over the single-track dirt roads. And there was so much space for all of my camera gear and more. I definitely want to take it on another adventure.”

A London girl born and bred, Dina Asher-Smith wanted to spend her scarce downtime unwinding with some much-needed retail therapy, and not even the hectic capital streets could get in her way. “The drive was less stressful than it would normally be,” says Dina. “The blind-spot detector and the lane-keeping assistance system really made my life easier.”

It is an almost impossible task to pick favourites from the collection of envy-inspiring snaps that were created for the challenge, but we made our team do just that.
